Sanskriti proudly announces it's 6th Durga Puja celebrations on Saturday, September 27th and Sunday, September 28th, 2003 at Foothill College in Los Altos Hills. As in previous years, both days of the Puja will be full of fun and enjoyment. No membership / fee is required to come and enjoy the Puja.

We take great pride in announcing that we have managed to attract some top flight talent from both Bollywood and Kolkata to perform during our puja celebrations. This year we have taken the approach that we will only announce the artiste names after confirmation of all formalities, including obtaining US visas.

Taking into account the continuing slowdown in the US economy, we have put together a very affordable ticket package for this year’s cultural program also. As in the five preceding years, we expect the same active participation from you this year also and cordially invite all of you to join us in celebrating Puja with your family and friends.

Evening Cultural Programs Tickets 

Tickets to enjoy our evening cultural programs are available. Please purchase your tickets early, because we expect that there will be heavy demand for tickets, especially after the artiste names are announced. Khichuri Bhog (lunch) is free for holders of cultural program tickets.

Food Arrangements 

Prasad is free to everyone. Lunch will be provided to the cultural program ticket holders on both days. In addition, Lunch, Dinner and Snacks will be sold separately on both days by outside Vendors. Dinner on Saturday will be provided to our Patrons holding tickets for both days and to Donors.

Children’s Talent Show 

A Children’s Talent Show (Recitation, Songs, Dance) is planned for children of two age groups. Age groups are (4 – 7) yr. and (8 – 12) yr. Please contact Malobika Ghosh at 408-323-9806 before September 20th to enroll your child's name in the children's Talent Show.

Parking 

There is a parking fee for $2.00 per vehicle. Please carry change (preferably 8 quarters) to feed the parking meters.

Special Notes 

Strollers, Audio and Video recording will not be allowed inside the auditorium.
