Natya Mela 2015

Natya Mela, a Bengali Theater Festival, involving mainly the theater enthusiasts in USA was conceived and introduced by Sanskriti in 2005. Since then Sanskriti has been organizing this festival regularly. Even though it started off with the local Bay Area teams and the teams from within California, it's reach has now increased beyond California. Teams from other states are also being included in the festival. This year Natya Mela is turning eight. It was skipped in year 2009, 2011 and 2014 mainly because of conflicts with other large scale event or non-availability of suitable venue.

We welcome everyone to 8th Natya Mela on March 21 at Cubberly Theater in Palo Alto. This is also the first year we are hosting Natya Mela in a different venue than our regular one at Amador Theater.
